While Onyx and I were down in western Kentucky a few weeks ago helping the folks at Clement Mineral Museum with their annual show and dig, we ran into some neat looking clouds of an approaching storm as we were driving back to the hotel from Marion. We were just north of Eddyville and just a few miles from the hotel when the clouds started turning colors, going from a dark blue and grey to a light blue in the middle…never seen that before….the farmers along Hwy 641 were prob wondering about me turning around several times and stopping to take photos of the clouds….

Hot Air Balloon, Sunset, and Storms End of May
In the last week of May this year, we had a few storms that provided some spectacular sunsets and clouds both….I was also able to photograph a pretty hot air balloon on my way home from work two mornings in a row flying over Fenton near I-44….
